A Bit Long-Winded. Eh?
I was certainly put in my place today by a young Schnauzer. This particular patient is a referral dental case and was in the office for a recheck. Everything looked very good with excellent healing.
The client asked if there was a story behind why I had a veterinary referral dental practice in Cornelia.
I explained that my great, great, great, great grandfather, John Chalmers, had acquired land in Habersham County in a Revolutionary War Land Grant. His farm later became part of Banks County. So in a nutshell, this was home.
Before I could finish my story, the Schnauzer in question abruptly sat back on the exam table and sighed audibly.
